The Role
As Deputy Nursery Manager, you’ll work alongside the Nursery Manager to ensure the nursery runs smoothly, providing a safe, nurturing, and inspiring environment where children can thrive. You’ll guide and support the team, champion best practice, and help create a vibrant learning space where every child feels valued and empowered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and Motivate: Inspire, support, and develop the team to achieve their best
- Deliver Excellence: Plan and deliver a stimulating, child-centred curriculum based on the EYFS
- Build Strong Relationships: Foster open, positive communication with parents and carers
- Maintain Standards: Ensure full compliance with safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies
- Create Inspiring Learning Opportunities: Design experiences that ignite curiosity, imagination, and a love of learning
What You’ll Bring:
- A minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education (essential)
- Previous leadership experience in a nursery or early years setting
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS and safeguarding requirements
