Rated Outstanding by Ofsted! Our Nursery provides Early Years education and care to children from birth to 5 years old. The Nursery is located in Peckham, close to South Bermondsey station. We are a spacious, airy setting, with separate rooms for different age groups and two gardens. The children enjoy science experiments, construction, messy arts play, gardening, cooking and much more.

Responsibilities:
• The Nursery Practitioner fosters positive relationships with parents, offering support, feedback, and guidance on their child’s progress
• Engage children in a variety of age-appropriate activities, promoting their learning and development
• Provide personal care and support, including feeding, nappy changing, and building routines
• Plan and implement stimulating curriculum activities based on the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
• Maintain a safe and hygienic environment, conducting regular risk assessments and adhering to health and safety regulations
• Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive team environment, sharing best practices and ideas for continuous improvement
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities:
• Minimum Level 2 Diploma in Childcare and Education (or equivalent)
• Proven experience working with young children in a nursery or early years setting
• Sound knowledge of the EYFS framework and its application in practice
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and willingness to participate in training and development opportunities
